Manhattan > Upper East Side > 115 East 92nd Street

This is absolutely one of my favorite rental buildings on the entire Upper East Side. As soon as you walk through the Iron Gates and into this beautiful stone lobby-you are transported to a different era in New York living-one of understated grace and quality.
The elevators are manned, which brings one back to the gilded age of New York’s gloried past. But before I get too nostalgic-let’s remember that this block is within a stone’s throw from the 92nd Street Y, Central Park and numerous sidewalk cafes on Third Ave.
This building really fulfills every fantasy one has about New York living -a quiet tree-lined street, easy access to neighborhood conveniences and pre-war elegance that has been completely renovated. Plus, there is also a gorgeous landscaped roof deck. The apartments themselves feature stainless steel appliances, marble baths, crown molding and many pre-war details.
If this were a car it would be a 1972 Mercedes Benz that has been lovingly and completely restored. Every time I walk into this building it puts a smile on my face.
If you are considering 115 East 92nd Street, then should also check out 111 East 80th and 435 East 79th Street. Please feel free to call me at anytime if you have any questions about this building and remember talking to me first is like having ‘a friend who lives in the building!’

About the Upper East Side
The Upper East Side is famous for its storied past of old money, elite schools, world class museums and proximity to Central Park. But cross east of Park Avenue and the draw is some of the best values in all of Manhattan. So for many, the convenience, value and size of the apartments is a major draw. With all the money you save by moving uptown you can take advantage of some of the greatest shopping and dining options nearby. So take that extra cash and splurge on The Atlantic Grill, Bouley or Café Sabarsky, after lunch head down to Prada, Armani or Zitomers. Sunday morning calls you to jog around the Central Park Reservoir-stop at Eli’s for some fresh lox and enjoy the Sunday Times on a blanket on the great lawn. New York living at it’s finest.
