Manhattan > Upper East Side > Raising Rover and Baby

Since the City passed its under 65 pounds dog law, the Upper East Side Pet shops are filled with the cutest teacup fur balls. My kids and I always stop by the Lexington Puppies strategically located just steps away from our subway station and it won’t be long before I surrender. But my favorite spot of all is by far Raising Rover, on the very much family and pet oriented landmark, Carnegie Hill, which window intriguingly reads Puppies and Babies. For sale? One would wonder…
In fact, Jeff and Frankie the smart owners, realized how saturated the pet store market had become and also how the common denominator of acquiring a puppy was getting the kids a four legged companion. Hence, Raising Rover was born - a concept store where you could find the cutest pups from renowned breeders and matching outfits for your baby and your doggy. Some outfits can also match your diaper bags, no kidding! On hand for modeling and always available are Jeff and Frankie’s three dogs: “Weezer” a year-old Brussels griffon, “Harper” a three-year-old Brussels Griffon and “Cecilley” a two-year-old Yorkshire terrier who knows she’s just the bomb!
And seeing the kids going crazy about all the collars, leashes, petticoats, basket, toys, booties etc., it’s obvious that Jeff and Frankie hit the mark. The moms go home with bags fully loaded with the poshest and coolest accessories. And if Rex needs a little pampering or a walk to Central Park, the Raising Rover Crew would gladly trot with your stylish canine up the historic hilly streets.
