Daniel Baum is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Corporate Relocation for The Real Estate Group (TREGNY). He is jointly responsible for the day-to-day operations, customer care and media relations of the company.
Daniel began his career at age 18, when he worked as a financial advisor at Josephthal & Co. while attending Baruch College in the evenings. Despite his success in finance, Daniel soon decided to pursue his interests in the growing technology sector, seeking expertise in a field he felt was critical to future business endeavors. At 24, Daniel launched his real estate career at the main office of one of the city's leading firms, where he quickly became the top broker. The company recognized Daniel's achievements with awards such as “Top Relocation Broker of 2004” and by granting him “Platinum Club” membership for each of the four years he worked there.
Today, Daniel uses his outstanding communication talents and commitment to quality service to help further advance The Real Estate Group. Daniel personally trains each new agent to ensure that all of TREGNY's brokers exhibit the highest levels of professionalism and expertise. “I believe in using a highly proactive approach when assisting clients, whether they're current Manhattan residents or moving to the city for the first time,” says Daniel. “Everyone deserves a broker they can not only rely on, but trust. Daniel was born in Pennsylvania and moved to New York City as a child. He studied at Baruch College, City University of New York, and has lectured at the New York Real Estate Institute. Andrew Barrocas is the Chief Operating Officer of The Real Estate Group (TREGNY). He is jointly responsible for the day-to-day operations, strategic planning and overall vision of the company.
Andrew began his real estate career at one of Manhattan's largest brokerages, where he soon earned the title of Managing Director at the age of 23. Over the course of the next four years, Andrew received numerous awards for his achievements in real estate, including the prestigious Crain's N.Y. “Top Broker Under 30.” At 24, he was the youngest individual ever to receive the honor.
Today, Andrew brings his expertise, creativity and enthusiasm to The Real Estate Group. With his innovative ideas and keen eye for design, Andrew creates unique marketing strategies that help keep his firm on the cutting-edge of its industry. “The landscape of the Manhattan real estate market literally changes from one day to the next. To keep ahead of the curve, I constantly watch and research the market to assess how current fluctuations may spread into future long-term patterns. If you have to read about a trend, you've already missed it,” says Andrew.
Andrew was born and raised in New City, NY and studied at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. David Behin is a Partner at The Developers Group, New York's pre-eminent real estate marketing and sales company, and has been involved in over $500MM of real estate transactions within the tri-state area and Philadelphia.
An attorney by trade, David provides strategic direction to our clients, from a property's acquisition to its final disposition. He focuses on creation of housing that speaks to consumers' wants and needs; housing that is beyond four walls and a roof, and that ultimately gives buyers a sense of home. His marketing and sales strategies are always tailored to each project, market and potential buyer pool, and have consistently led to the successful sellout of many development projects. David's most recent projects include the successful sales at, NV 101 North 5th, and 111 Monroe, all condominium projects that started sales in the latter half of 2008, and all sold at the highest prices in the market.
Currently, David is consulting to several banks, developers, investors and asset management firms in connection with the sale of distressed assets. Using his knowledge of the market, financing, and working on new developments, he is achieving results that benefit the banks and borrowers and ultimately result in the highest and best use of the properties.
Prior to starting The Developers Group, David was co-founder of a technology and telecommunications company that created software that merged the utility of the cellular phone and ubiquity of the internet. Among his notable achievements, he helped raise $30MM of capital for the company in one year while building it up from 2 employees to over 100.
Born in New York City, David received his JD from Fordham University School of Law, and received his Bachelor's degree from Adelphi University. He has been a regular guest lecturer since 2003 at New York University's Graduate Real Estate Program as well as a panelist in numerous discussions about the residential real estate market. A nationally recognized market expert, David has been quoted in The New York Times, The Real Deal, Crain's New York, Real Estate Weekly, and Bloomberg. A strong believer in giving back to the community, David was most recently presented with Brooklyn CareWorks' Robert J. Wilkin Commitment to Community Award. He currently resides in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn with his wife Ayanna and his two crazy children, Marley and Asher.
